Description
A pair of semi-detached houses dating to circa 1845, constructed of stucco. They have a hipped slate roof extending to the eaves. The houses are two storeys high, with an attic and basement. Each house has two bays, with the outer bay slightly recessed and featuring steps leading to square-headed, pilastered entrances with panelled doors. Giant Corinthian pilasters are positioned between the bays, and paired in the centre of the overall composition. The windows are square-headed and architraved, with tripartite configurations in the centre bays, margin glazing, and some plate glass. The ground floor centre bay of No. 25 has been altered to create a square, projecting bay window. A rich dentil cornice sits above the first floor. Pilastered attic casements are present, with the centre of No. 23 having been altered. Bracketed eaves are incorporated into the design.
