Description

A pair of semi-detached stucco houses dating to circa 1845, situated on Abbey Road in the City of Westminster. The houses have hipped slate roofs extending to the eaves. They are two storeys high with an attic and basement. Each house features two bays, with the outer bay slightly recessed and containing steps leading to square-headed, pilastered entrances – the entrance to No. 19 has been altered to a pilastered porch. Giant Corinthian pilasters are positioned between the bays and paired centrally. The windows are square-headed and architraved, with tripartite glazing to the centre bays. They feature margin glazing, sash windows, and plate glass. A rich dentil cornice runs along the top of the building, while the attic windows have been altered. Bracketed eaves are present.
