Description
26 Calthorpe Road is a Grade II listed villa built around 1840. It is a detached two-storey building with three bays, featuring a plinth at the first floor level and a dentil eaves cornice. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and there are stucco chimney stacks. The villa has unusually large sash windows on both floors, set in thin moulded frames. A projecting porch with Doric columns and a full entablature leads to a panelled recess that houses a panelled door with pilasters. To the left, there is a screen wall with side entrance aisles, and a coach house with a hipped roof, cambered arch doors, and a blind window above.
