Description

This is a row of three modest red-brick houses, numbers 54, 55, and 56 Lee Crescent, dating to circa 1840-45. They are part of an irregular terrace encompassing numbers 50 to 58. Each house has two storeys and one bay to the front, with a doorway on the right-hand side. The houses have flat eaves to a slate roof, with moulded stucco detailing, and tall brick chimney stacks. They feature revealed glazing bar sashes with flat ganged rubbed brick arches and stucco sills. The round, rubbed brick arched entrances have panelled reveals and soffits. The doors are of moulded and flush panel construction, surmounted by radial glazed fanlights.
