Description

This is a circa 17th-century timber-framed cottage located on Savages Close in Bishops Tachbrook. The structure has painted brick infill panels. A plinth sits beneath a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, and features a three-window front. An open porch with a hipped tile roof shelters a six-panelled door. The windows are a mix of two-light casements, two of which have segmental arched openings. There are three gabled dormers, each with a two-light casement. Two brick chimney stacks rise from the ridge. The interior retains chamfered ceiling beams.
