Description

The Woodland Tavern Public House is a mid-19th century establishment located on Regent Street in Royal Leamington Spa. The building is constructed of brick with painted stucco facades and features a Welsh slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has six first-floor windows, with the two on the right set at a lower level. The windows are 2/2 cambered-arched sashes throughout, with the three on the left side of the first floor being taller. All windows are set in plain reveals and have moulded architraves and sills.

On the ground floor, there is an off-centre entrance on the right, which consists of a four-panel door with an overlight, framed by a surround that features horizontal rustication on the pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice topped with acroteria. To the left of the entrance is an elliptical carriage arch with plank doors. The roof is hipped to the right.

The right return of the building has two similar windows on the first floor. The ground floor features three similar windows and a left entrance with a board door that has a cambered overlight in plain reveals. There is a rear right stack with a cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
