Description
This is a cartshed with a granary above, located 20 yards south of Wiggerland Wood Farmhouse in Bishops Tachbrook. It dates from the 17th century and features a timber frame with four bays and red brick infill panels. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with plain tiles, ending in gables. There is a loft door in the north gable end, and all ground floor posts rest on sandstone pads. The timber frame displays carpenter's marks in Roman numerals. Inside, king posts rise from upper collar beams, which are supported by paired queen posts.
