Description
The Old Bakehouse is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century, with 19th century additions at the rear. It is constructed of regularly coursed ironstone and features a concrete tile roof with coped gable parapets, including the remains of a finial on the left side. There are rendered end and internal stacks. The rear addition is made of red brick and has a slate roof. The building has a three-unit plan that extends to a T-plan and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. A 19th or 20th century porch is located between the second and third bays and features a ribbed door. The windows are three-light casements with horizontal glazing bars, with the ground floor windows being older. Throughout the building, there are painted wood lintels. A firemark is located above the porch. The interior has not been inspected.
