Description
This headstone, dated 1682, is located approximately 15 meters south of the chancel of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Middle Tysoe. It is made of ironstone and features a panel inscribed with the words 'TO THE MEMORY/OF ALICE/COTTRELL DAU/GHTER OF HE/NERY AND AN/COTTRILL/WHO DECEAS/ED DECEMBER THE.28.ANNO/DOM.1682.' The headstone has heavily moulded surrounds, although the right corner is damaged.
