Description

This headstone, dating from the late 17th century, is located approximately 14 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary in Culworth. It is made of ironstone and features an oval cartouche that is framed by scrolls and pendants of fruit. The design includes a winged cherub's head and a broken pediment. There is a fragmentary inscription that appears to commemorate K----- Good, who was the daughter of Thomas Good and died in 1694. The headstone is badly weathered.
