Description
The Corner House is a house located in Tanworth-in-Arden, dating from the early 19th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of reddish-brown brick, which is painted on the front facade, and has a roughcast right return. The roofs are gabled, featuring Welsh slate and plain tiles.
The house is two storeys high and has two first-floor windows. At the rear, there is an extension. On the first floor, there are three-over-three sash windows with sills and elliptical arches. The ground floor features a central six-panel door set in a moulded wood door frame, flanked by six-over-six sash windows with glazing bars. A dentil eaves cornice runs along the top of the building, and there is a rear stack with a cornice.
The interior has not been inspected. The Corner House is part of a group of listed buildings on The Green.
