Description

Bank House A and Bank House B are a pair of houses dating from the mid-18th century, with subsequent additions and alterations. They are constructed of reddish-brown brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a renewed plain-tile roof. The houses are two storeys high with attics, and feature four first-floor windows. A rear extension is present. The ground floor has two six-panel doors positioned off-centre, each set within a moulded wooden door frame and with a fanlight containing glazing bars. The windows are eight-pane sashes throughout, and all openings are topped with flat arches featuring raised keystones. Four attic dormers contain casement windows. The interior was not inspected. The listed buildings on The Green form a group.
