Description

The Old Farmhouse and attached barn, originally known as Old Farm Farmhouse, is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the mid to late 17th century and is constructed of squared coursed limestone. The building features a steeply pitched stone slate roof laid in diminishing courses, with renewed stone ridge and end stacks. It has an L-plan layout and consists of two storeys plus an attic, with a four-window range on the elevation facing the road.

On the ground floor, there are two 4-light stone-mullioned windows with king mullions, a 2-light stone-mullioned window, and another 4-light stone-mullioned window to the right. The first floor has two 4-light windows, along with a 2-light and a 3-light stone-mullioned window. All the mullioned windows are adorned with hood moulds and label stops, and some stonework has been renewed. The building also features three gabled roof dormers and limestone quoins. The entrance is located at the rear, and there is a gabled two-storey wing to the left that has stone-mullioned windows. An attached barn is situated to the right. The interiors have not been inspected.
