Description
Rose Cottage and its attached outbuildings date from the early 18th century. The cottage features cob walls that are painted white and has a steeply pitched thatched roof with painted brick end stacks. It has a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. The central entrance includes a plank door framed with moulded wood and is sheltered by a gabled rustic porch. On either side of the entrance are two-light casement windows, and there are two swept dormers above. At the rear, there is an outshut. The attached outbuilding to the right is weatherboarded and has a corrugated iron roof. It features a partly glazed plank door on the left and a fixed light window with glazing bars on the right. The interior has not been inspected.
