Description
The Old House is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is built of coursed squared ironstone with ironstone quoins and features a steeply pitched stone slate roof laid to diminishing courses, along with brick end stacks. The house has two storeys plus an attic and a three-window range. The central entrance has a panelled door with two glazed panels and an overlight, flanked by sash windows with glazing bars and horns. There are three similar windows on the first floor, along with two gabled roof dormers that have wood casements. The ground floor openings are topped with stone lintels. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included for its group value.
