Description
Hill Farmhouse, formerly known as Yeomans Cottage, is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the 17th century, with some rebuilding on the ground floor in the 19th century, along with later additions and alterations. The structure features small timber-framing with diagonal braces, painted brick nogging, and a reddish brick ground floor. It has a gabled plain-tile roof and brick stacks.
The exterior is two storeys high and has a three-window range. The entrance, located off-centre to the right, features a four-panelled door set within a 20th-century porch. The windows throughout are 20th-century casements, and there are ridge and internal stacks.
Inside, the farmhouse retains exposed beams and joists on the ground floor.
