Description

Beaudesert Park is an early 19th-century house, later converted into six flats, with alterations in the late 20th century. The house is constructed of stucco with hipped Welsh slate roofs and a brick internal stack. It follows a double-depth plan.

The exterior is three storeys and has a symmetrical three-window arrangement. The details include a plain plinth, first- and second-floor sill bands, and wide boxed eaves. The entrance is within a porch featuring paired Tuscan pilasters, a frieze, cornice, and parapet, containing paired six-panel doors. The windows have 20th-century small-paned cross-casements; the sill is present on the ground floor to the right but not to the left. Second-floor windows are 2-light casements. The left return has a large projecting block with two segmental-headed openings containing 20th-century infill to the ground floor, tripartite small-paned windows to the first floor, and 2-light windows to the second floor. To the right of the projecting block is one window to each floor, mirroring the front facade. The right return has similar windows and a 20th-century single-storey flat-roofed extension. The rear façade has a large 20th-century porch, a forward break to the left, and a backward break to the right, and features two gables with bargeboards.

The interior has not been inspected. The group value of the building resides in its contribution to the character of the surrounding area.
