Description
This field barn and attached cow house, built in 1832 with the cow house added in the mid-19th century, is constructed from regular coursed ironstone and features a chamfered plinth. The roof is made of corrugated iron and has coped gable parapets. The front has corrugated iron double doors, while the cow house on the right includes a plank door and a hayloft door. The left side of the barn displays a square panel datestone with the initials W.H. in the gable, along with an owl hole. The rear, facing the road, has a small window for the cow house. Inside, the barn features a queen strut roof, and the cow house has a wood partition. This building is noted for its historical significance as a dated example.
