Description
204 and 205 Village Street is a pair of cottages, now functioning as a single dwelling, built around 1820. The structure is made of brick and features a tiled roof with brick end stacks, following a 2-unit plan.
The exterior stands two storeys tall and has a symmetrical arrangement of two windows. It is topped with a dentiled brick cornice. There are paired entrances with plank doors that are sheltered by a hipped tile canopy supported by rustic posts. The ground floor has segmental-headed windows with 3-light small-paned casements, which include iron opening casements. The first floor features similar windows with both 3-light and 2-light casements. The roof is gabled, and the returns have external stacks, with the right stack having tiled offsets. At the rear, there is a 20th-century gabled wing. The interior has not been inspected.
