Description

This is a 17th-century house with alterations made in the mid-20th century. It is timber-framed with painted brick infill, set on a plastered plinth, and has a renewed tile mansard roof with a brick end stack. The house has a 2-unit plan with a timber-framed outshut at the right end.

The building is single-storey with an attic and has a 2-window front. It features storey-height principal studs and a tension brace. There are two small windows with small-paned casements.

On the left return is a 20th-century open-fronted lean-to porch, extended to incorporate an entrance within a later 20th-century addition to the rear. The ground floor and first floor both have two windows with metal-framed casements. The right return has an external stack and a first-floor window with a 3-light metal casement over the lean-to.

The interior was not inspected, though the roof is reported to be a replacement from the 1930s.
