Description
Little Fosse is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with a front wing added in the early 20th century. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and features an old tile roof alongside a 20th-century tile roof. The roof has a coped gable parapet with kneelers on the left, and there are brick end stacks from the 18th and 19th centuries. The wing is made of Flemish bond brick with buff headers and has a late 20th-century tile roof.
The house has a three-unit plan that extends to an L-plan, with the wing on the left. It is two storeys tall with an attic and has a three-window range. A mid to late 20th-century polygonal porch is located at the angle, featuring a plank door and metal single lights. Above the porch, there is a two-light 19th-century casement window with a horizontal glazing bar and a painted wood lintel. To the right, there are stone mullioned windows with four and three lights. The wing has 20th-century three-light metal casements with glazing bars. The lintels have keyblocks, with the ground floor lintel made of cement. The left return side has a two-light mullioned attic window, and the rear features 19th-century casements. The interior has not been inspected.
