Description

Beacon Tower is a 15th-century structure that has been altered in the 20th century. It is built from coursed squared ironstone and features a conical cement roof. The tower has a tapering circular plan, with a blocked doorway and window. At the top, there are cartels, which may be the remnants of machicolations. It is likely that the tower was originally a mill before being converted into a look-out tower.
