Description
A pair of houses dated circa 1820. The buildings are constructed of painted brick with stucco dressings, and have a tile roof. A brick stack is located in the centre. The two-storey, symmetrical front elevation has a two-window range. A top brick cornice runs along the top. Each end has an entrance with an architrave, frieze, and cornice above a plank door. The windows have sills; those on the ground floor have wedge lintels with keys and 6/6 sashes, although the ground floor sashes likely replaced earlier 16-pane sashes. The rear of the properties includes two gabled wings. The interior was not inspected. The buildings are attached to Nos. 45 and 48.
