Description

This is a house dating from the early 18th century, with additions made in the 1960s. It is constructed of brick, with some rendering, and has a tile roof. A brick stack is located to the side and one to the ridge. The house is arranged in an L-shape.

The front elevation has two storeys and a three-window front, including a cross-wing on the right. The first floor of the cross-wing is jettied and plastered. The top of the front is defined by a modillioned brick cornice. A segmental-headed entrance is located to the left of centre, with a plank door. Segmental-headed windows flank the entrance; these include a three-light and a two-light window with small panes. The cross-wing features a projecting three-light window with small-paned glazing. The first floor windows are two-light casements with small panes, and iron opening casements.

The rear elevation includes a segmental-headed entrance and smaller windows. One window retains an older casement. A conservatory of around 1960 has been added as a lean-to.

The interior features chamfered spine beams and a fireplace with a stop-chamfered bressumer. A 20th-century inner fireplace is also present, along with a winding staircase to the left.
