Description
Glebe Farm Barn is a barn dating from the late 17th century to the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame featuring jowled posts and is covered with weatherboarding, sitting on a brick plinth. The left bay has been largely rebuilt in brick, and the barn has a tile roof with three bays. The doors are missing, and it has a queen strut and trenched purlin roof. A significant amount of cladding is missing from the rear of the barn. Additionally, there is a range of timber framed cart sheds attached at right angles to the rear. The barn is located between Glebe Farmhouse and Shepherd's Yard, the former Rectory, creating a visual link with these buildings. It is included for its group value.
