Description

Gunnings Bridge is an early 19th-century bridge constructed of brick with stone dressings. It features three segmental arches, each with keystones, along with projecting piers and a string course. The parapet has stone coping that has been largely renewed. The bridge was rebuilt after 1814, the year the road to Wooton Wawen was turnpiked, replacing a bridge originally erected by Sir Fulke Greville in 1612.
