House. Early C17. Timber framed with plaster infill; left section underbuilt and plastered. Tile roof and single brick internal stack. 2-unit plan with former through passage. 2 storeys; 2-window range. First floor jettied on right with broad gable and curved bracket; partly underbuilt in timber framing. Smaller gable on left. C20 half-glazed door in moulded wood surround. C18/C19 and late C20 casements, mostly with thin glazing bars. Left end wall has late C20 boarding. To rear: Large gable with exposed framing; built out on ground floor. Interior: Exposed framing. Open fireplace in room on left, possibly not original. Straight flight stairs. First floor room on right has exposed windbraces of roof. C19 panelled doors and built-in dresser. Early/mid C19 whitewashed brick stable block now partially inrorporated into house with later linking addition. (Buildings of England: Warwickshire, p.60).
