Description
This is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century, with alterations and additions made in the early to mid 19th century, and further alterations and restoration in the 20th century. It is timber framed, with small framing and lath and plaster infill panels, and a colourwashed brick ground floor. The roof is tiled. A brick internal stack is located at the rear. The original two-unit plan was extended to create an L-shaped layout, with a projecting ground floor featuring a lean-to roof. The house is two storeys high and has a two-window front. A 20th-century door is present. The windows are 20th-century casements and fixed lights, with a corner window on the ground floor to the left. A gable end facing Meeting Lane displays exposed timber framing with two large diagonal braces. The interior has not been inspected.
