Description
This is a barn located approximately 15 meters north-northwest of Number 1 Juxon Bungalows, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with quoins and features a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn has three bays and large 19th-century plank doors at the center, which are supported by a wooden lintel, along with a corresponding opening at the rear. Inside, there are square and triangular niches as well as ventilation openings in the walls. The roof is a pegged through-purlin design with collars, and it includes chamfered tie beams, collars, and purlins that have run-out stops.
