Description

Oakham Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed from squared coursed limestone with a plinth, quoins, and a storey band. The roof is covered with stone slate, featuring a stone ridge and end stacks. The building follows an L-shaped plan. The two-storey farmhouse originally had a three-window front range of 20th-century casements, originally with quoined surrounds. A late 18th-century part-glazed panelled door is located centrally, featuring a chamfered surround and a hood. A 20th-century plank door is present at the rear, with a moulded stone surround and carved arms above. An outbuilding range to the right of the house was converted in the 20th century and now provides accommodation, incorporating sash windows to the front. The interior has not been inspected. The property is included on the list for its group value.
