Description

This is a late 17th and early 18th century pavilion, with later 20th-century alterations. It is located in Avon Dassett. Constructed of regular coursed ironstone, the front is of squared coursed stone with traces of rendering, and has ashlar dressings. It originally had a pyramid roof, but this has been replaced with a corrugated iron mono-pitch roof. The pavilion is a single storey and one bay, featuring a plinth, slightly projecting corners, and a molded cornice. A blind basket-arched window, set within a molded stone surround, remains. An entrance is located on the right return side. The interior has not been inspected. An attached wall has a flat coped top. The pavilion is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
