Description
Farnborough Hall features a right outer forecourt wall with attached gatepiers and a mounting block, dating from the mid-18th century. The wall is made of ironstone ashlar and has a coped top. The gatepier has a stepped-down section with a flat coped top, a square shape, a plinth, a moulded cornice, and a ball finial. The right return section of the wall includes buttresses. There is a square gatepier, built around 1815-1816, leading to the stable yard, which has a pyramidal cap. An early 19th-century mounting block is attached to the wall near the gatepier, located within the stable yard.
