Description
Lane End is a late 17th-century cottage, with alterations made in the 18th century, forming part of a row in Main Street, Farnborough. The cottage is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble and has a 20th-century tile roof with a stone end stack. It has an L-shaped layout, with a wing extending to the rear. The two-storey, three-window front features a chamfered Tudor arch doorway situated between the second and third bays, containing a 20th-century plank door. Stone mullioned windows with three lights are present on the front. The ground floor windows have hood moulds, while the first-floor windows are casements with two or three lights.
