Description

Farnborough Hall features garden and field walls that likely date from the mid-18th century. The garden wall and the right and return sections of the field wall are constructed from ironstone ashlar, while the left section is made of regular coursed ironstone. The walls have coped tops, with the garden wall being low in height. The tall field wall includes a clasping buttress and additional buttresses on the right return section. The left end of the wall slopes down towards a gateway.
