Description
The left forecourt walls of Farnborough Hall date from around 1745 to 1750, with the low front wall possibly added around 1815. They are constructed of red brick topped with flat stone coping, while the front wall features ironstone ashlar with a plinth and moulded flat coping. The tall side wall curves down in two stages to meet the front wall. Near the house, there is a doorway with a moulded architrave and a six-panelled door. The front wall includes five projecting piers with moulded plinths, with the left corner pier adorned with a gadrooned urn and three shallow gadrooned vases, while the right pier features a shell vase.
