Description

A row of three cottages with an attached wall, dating to the middle or later 18th century. Number 2 was altered and possibly raised in the mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed of regular coursed ironstone, with a 20th-century tile roof and brick ridge stacks. Each cottage has a single-unit plan, and they present a 5-window range over two storeys. The cottages have plank doors, with Nos. 2 and 3 being paired. Number 2, on the left, has a late 20th-century trellis porch. The original windows are 3-light leaded casements, with painted wood lintels. Number 2 has mid-19th century stone mullioned windows with three lights on the ground floor and two lights above. The interiors were not inspected. The attached wall to the right is of a similar date and made from matching materials.
