Description
The Little House is a house built in the mid to late 18th century, with a rear wing added in the 18th or 19th century and early 20th century alterations following a fire around 1925. The main structure is made of coursed squared limestone and features a string course, while the rear wing is constructed of brick and roughcast. The house has a 20th-century tile roof and brick end stacks. It is designed in a two-unit layout extended to an L-plan, with a wing on the left side at the rear. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window range. The central entrance features a part-glazed flush six-panelled door. The early 20th-century weatherboarded bay windows have tripartite sashes and wood pilasters, and there is a continuous lead flat roof. The first floor includes two-light leaded casements, and there are early 20th-century hipped roof dormers. The interior has not been inspected. The house is included for its group value.
