Description
This is a group of three headstones located approximately 11.5 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of St. Michael. The headstones date from the late 17th century and early 18th century and are made of carved ironstone.
The left headstone is dated 1727 and features a winged head and a large cartouche. The centre headstone, dated 1682, has a segmental top adorned with a flying trumpeting angel, roll moulding, and a fielded panel flanked by tulips. The right headstone also has a segmental top with a winged head and a large swagged drapery panel. These headstones are included for their group value.
