Description
Spring Cottage, Sunny Cottage, and Myrtle Cottage are a row of three houses located on Banbury Road in Kineton, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed dressed limestone with ironstone dressings and feature a partly renewed gabled tile roof with a brick end stack and a cross-axial stack. The houses have single and two-unit plans and are two storeys high.
The exterior includes a five-window range, with windows that have large lintels and two-light casements. Spring Cottage has a two-window range with a central entrance that features a large lintel above a 20th-century door. Its windows have 20th-century small-paned casements, with the ground floor windows having sills and dressed jambs. Sunny Cottage also has a two-window range, with a central entrance that has a relieving arch over a Tudor-arched lintel leading to a 20th-century door. Its windows have sills and dressed jambs. Myrtle Cottage has a single-window range, with an entrance to the left that has a large lintel over a 20th-century door. Its windows have sills, with the ground floor window featuring dressed jambs. The interiors have not been inspected.
