Description

Elsmore House is a house built in the late 18th century, with a 19th-century addition. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble and features a brick nogged cornice. The roof is made of concrete tiles, and there are brick stacks at each end. The house has a two-unit plan, is two storeys high with an attic, and has a two-window range. The central door, which is from the 20th century, is a plank door with an overlight and is topped by a late 19th-century tiled hood. The windows are sashes with painted wood lintels. A lean-to addition on the left side has a 20th-century casement window. The right side of the building has a two-light attic casement with glazing bars, while the left side of the addition features two three-light casements with horizontal glazing bars.
