Description

This is a town house, now used as a shop, likely dating from the 17th century, with alterations and a new front added around 1800. The building has a timber frame with a front of stuccoed brick, and a slate roof with brick stacks at the rear. It is two storeys high with a three-window front. A large 20th-century shop front is located at the front, featuring a door with six fielded panels on the right side. The upper floor has windows with sills, including 16-pane sash windows on either side of a 12-pane sash window. A wrought-iron sign bracket is located at the right end of the building. The interior retains some exposed chamfered beams, including stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops.
