Description
Walton House is a house built in the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed dressed limestone and features a steeply pitched old tile roof with coped gables, brick end stacks, and a cross-axial stack. The building is designed in an L-shape and has two storeys plus an attic, with a three-window range. Due to the slope of the ground, there is a plinth at the left end. The entrance is located to the right of the centre and is accessed by four steps, featuring a canopy over a panelled door set in a moulded wood door frame. The ground floor has three windows with sills and flat arches above three-light small-paned casements, while the first floor has similar windows. There are also three gabled roof dormers with two-light leaded casements. At the rear, there is a gabled wing. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to have flush-panel shutters.
