Description

This is a mid-18th century outbuilding located north of Herd Hill farmhouse. It is constructed of squared, coursed limestone with ironstone quoins and lintels, topped with an old tile roof. The building is two storeys high and features a two-window range. On the left gable end, there is a 19th-century plank door with a moulded lintel and keyblock. The front of the building has four 20th-century two-light casements, with the ground floor windows having stone lintels and keyblocks. Inside, there are some stone flagged floors and original roof timbers. This outbuilding is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
