Description

Old Tollbar Cottage features a pair of gatepiers dating from the late 17th century to the 18th century. They are made of limestone and are connected by a small brick wall with stone coping. The larger gatepier stands approximately 2 metres high, while the smaller flanking gatepier is about 1.5 metres high. Both gatepiers have moulded cornices and pineapple finials.
