Description
The garden pavilion, attached garden walls, gatepier, and stable block at Arlescote House date from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with the stable block added in the mid-19th century. The structures are built of regularly coursed ironstone. The pavilion features a painted moulded wood cornice and has an old tile ogee roof. It is a single storey with no windows facing the road; however, the left side has a leaded cross window and a plank door at the rear. The walls are topped with flat stone coping and a moulded cornice.
On the left, the square gatepier has a moulded cornice and a stone ball finial. The stable block, made of ironstone ashlar, has a cornice and a slate hipped roof. It includes a three-light mullioned window on the right side, while the main front is on the right return side. This section is also a single storey with attics and features a six-window range, three chamfered doorways, and an inserted garage door on the right. There are two two-light mullioned windows, a two-light casement, and three single lights. The central dormer has a chamfered Tudor arched doorway with a plank door.
