Description

Bachelor's Rest is a cottage dating from the mid to late 18th century. It features whitewashed pebbledash, likely applied over brick, and has a thatched roof with pebbledashed end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The entrance is marked by a flush four-panelled door and a thatched rustic porch. On either side of the door, there are three-light casement windows with glazing bars. The eyebrow dormers above contain cross-glazed two-light casements. The interior has not been inspected.
