Description

This cowhouse, located approximately 1 meter east of Glebe Farmhouse, dates from the 17th to early 18th century. It is timber framed with brick infill, and the front has been largely rebuilt in whitewashed 19th-century brick. The roof is covered with asbestos sheets. There are two doorways featuring the lower halves of stable doors, and two blocked doorways that have late 20th-century windows. The building has four small windows. Inside, there is a queen strut roof, and remnants of a brick trough and hayrack can still be seen.
