Description

The right gatepier and gate at Bourton Hall, likely designed by Harold A. Peto, date from around 1906. Constructed from limestone ashlar, the gate is made of cast iron and is designed in the Edwardian Baroque style. It features a moulded plinth, entablature, and a dentil cornice. The projecting front and rear faces have tall, narrow moulded shaped panels. The lower right section includes a large volute, while the lower left section has a small volute. The structure stands approximately 4 metres high and is topped with a ball finial.
