Description

The gatepiers and gates located approximately 15 metres south of the northeast corner of the kitchen garden at Arbury Hall date from the late 17th century to early 18th century. The gatepiers are made of sandstone ashlar and feature a high moulded pedestal, a tall sunk panel, and a deep acanthus cornice, topped with a pineapple finial. They stand approximately 4 metres high. The wrought-iron gates and side panels are adorned with spear motifs, scrollwork, and urn finials.
