Description
Butchers Stable, located 20 metres north of Butchers Public House, is a house and shop dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, has been colourwashed, and features a plain-tiled roof with a ridge stack that has been reduced in height. The building stands two storeys tall. On the first floor, there is a window with a pointed arch and a 19th-century wooden casement. The ground floor includes a doorway with a moulded wood architrave and a 19th-century panelled door, along with two late 20th-century casements set within original elliptical arches. There is also a late 20th-century shop at the east end. This building is included for its group value.
